Journal Entry 79

April 27, Thursday.

Honestly I should be working on my final projects but it's been really quiet around here lately, so I figured I should give an update. I also have no class tomorrow with it being Friday.

Well, I've actually been doing a slight bit better. I'm still unable to fall asleep for some reason on a lot of nights, so I'm pretty tired, but at least I can tell people it's because of finals. Finals probably have something to do with my stress level, as I'm trying to move on.

Speaking of moving on, I'm sure we can agree that we'll miss having Rusty on board for this. Yeah, he's still hanging out with us and all, but it looks like he's stayed true to his promise of not posting here. I suppose I'll miss his unique takes on things. I can't say I blame him, though. It's been harder for him than the rest of us, in more ways than one. I feel bad myself because I know Null probably had something to do with it. Null and Rusty never have gotten along particularly well.

Mike really is just pushing through at this point. He never complains about having a headache or anything, but I can tell it's probably not going well for him. He keeps rubbing his forehead when I see him. He's not really been himself lately. I can say that with certainty because I've known Mike since junior high. He's been sick before several times during the years I've known him, and I haven't seen it as bad as he's got it in terms of how being sick has affected him. It's starting to remind me of how Rusty was last semester when he started getting that thing in his head, and later developed another personality. Maybe all this work Michael's been doing has finally worn down his immune system.

At any rate, I hope he doesn't go crazy on us... but he's still holding on and hasn't lashed out at any of us. He still seems sane for the most part, which gives me hope he can fight it.
